Testimonials

‘Angella Hodgson on behalf of BHP Associates has worked with us for some time and created an excellent rapport and good positive relationships with teams and individuals. Angella has delivered coaching, support and training to teams, managers and teachers which has really helped us to identify problem areas and meet the challenges they bring. Angella takes a highly collaborative approach and she has a particular way of making people feel at ease. This helps to overcome the natural antipathy that many people feel who are experiencing under-performance issues and is crucial in getting ‘buy-in’ from staff into the need for training and development’ Philip Elliott – Deputy Principal – Bsix College, Hackney

‘It has been a genuine pleasure to work with you on this vacancy. You have no idea how much of a breath of fresh air it’s been to work with an employer who has really embraced the Future Jobs Fund.  You are one of the few companies to really understand the meaning of the fund’ Callum McGovern – Job Centre Plus

‘Angella Hodgson began supporting our Skills for Life team in August 2008. Since that time, she has been instrumental in developing a more cohesive approach to planning our skills for Life provision and identifying specific progression pathways. As a direct result of Angella’s work, the Skills for Life team are now working in a more effective way. In addition to the work directly with the SfL team, Angella has also helped mentor a new ESOL programme manager into her new role and we are already beginning to see the positive results of this work within the ESOL department.  We have been fortunate to have Angella Hodgson supporting our Skills for Life team over the last year and we look forward to continuing our work with Angella in the future’. Eamon Scanlon – Assistant Head of Adult Learning & Skills Service London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham

The candidate I interviewed today found compiling a portfolio very stressful, but was most complimentary about the support given to her by her assessor who took time at every assessment to demonstrate how and where to document evidence. Prior to registering for the Advice and Guidance NVQ, the candidate was encouraged by Angella to up-skill her literacy. Following Angella’s suggestions, the candidate has subsequently used Move On exercises to improve, in particular, her grammar and spelling. The candidate found the workshops very useful and said that she saw her assessor as often as she needed. Claire Jacobson’s Assessment Plans and Feedback to candidates were particularly detailed and supportive. Susan Brennan – External Verifier, OCR
